A Recent Review
I bought my gorgeous wedding dress here, had alterations done and used the dressing service on the day. Hayley who does the alterations was amazing and listened to everything I asked for and got the job done perfectly, Sarah was great on the day with the dressing service, dressing my 2 maids and me into our corset back dresses, after a quick pit stop at Subway for us lol. Would definitely recommend. The whole process was stress-free and I felt like a princess in my dress

We are so looking forward to reopening our doors to where we were before COVID - 19. Likely, that is some way off. So we have begun planning for a 'new normal' to tide us all over until then. We aim to open up our appointments diary from 1 June subject to a sensible approach and conditions.
In-store appointments will be available three days a week. Sarah will manage them all.
We are limiting to two the number of guests at appointments. It might be your Mother, Nan, or best friend, for example. They can be with you on a one-in-one-out basis.
We regret that we can't have under 12s present.
We will have personal safety and strict cleaning measures in place. We will make Sarah Belle Covid-19 Secure.
Our Commitment to Existing Clients
We will not forget our gorgeous and patient brides, bridesmaids and prom girls. We would love to continue the journey with every one of you in person. But, we have to adapt, to stay responsible and play our parts in keeping everyone safe. We still have your backs, customers and the Sarah Belle team members alike.
Home Deliveries and Fittings
We have begun to deliver prom and wedding dresses to our clients' homes. The delivery includes instructions on how to do a virtual first-fitting at home with us at the other end. We encourage all our current clients to take us up on this. At the time of writing, we have completed over fifty home deliveries and fittings. We all feel it has been a resounding success and is appropriate to the circumstances.
If we have let you know that we have your dress and would like us to deliver it, text "DELIVERY PLEASE" to us at 07525 104 350.
We make deliveries once every two weeks:
On Wednesdays to Chippenham, Calne & Devizes postcodes.
On Thursdays to Swindon postcodes and ten-mile radius.
We are working on 'kerbside' collections for those who live outside of our delivery areas. We are keen to provide virtual first-fittings for them too.
We're expecting our diaries to get very busy over the next few months, book deliveries as soon as you can. Don't run the risk of missing out!
Once you have your dress fitted with our guidance, you are back in control. We will have a clear idea of the alterations you need. Set a time with Hayley from A Stitch in Time when it feels comfortable and realistic to do so. As soon as we know the exact date we can reopen we will invite you to book with her. We are hoping that it will be on 1 June.

Sarah Belle Prom Update 21 March 2020
The world we live in has, with little warning, presented us all with enormous challenges. We all need to live up to and overcome them through our positive actions.
The decision to close schools was not a surprise, but it still came as a shock when it happened. They had little or no time to consider the broader impact of language and actions used. So we can forgive the schools for having to focus on the more immediate concerns.
Proms have not been cancelled; they have simply been postponed.
We all now need to take a moment to deal with the immediate challenges to life. Every one of us has a role to play in securing our own, our family’s and our community’s futures.
To all our beautiful Prom Girls:
Remember: Everything is temporary! Get behind the #promforever movement, which is gaining momentum across the UK and the USA. Be in control. Be positive for yourself, your friends and your family. Prom WILL happen.
To our supportive Prom Mums, Dads, Nans & Guardians:
Adolescent mental health is fragile. We all have that many years behind us that we can apply perspective and see the future before us. Our Year 11’s don’t have that life experience yet, so this is a real trauma to them.
It’s our responsibility to apply positive mental attitude now more than ever. Life will go on, and friends will continue to be friends. We will still achieve qualifications and life goals.
Overnight you’ve all had to become teachers, dinner ladies and head-mistresses. Congratulations, you’re also now head of the Prom Committee! Prom is such an important milestone in a teenager’s life. It’s as necessary to a teen as a wedding is to a bride, and we know how much they look forward to the reward after their exams.
Together, we can now reassure our teens they will get the experience they deserve. We understand that several schools already have plans in place to ensure this.
Over the next week or so, we will continue to process your dress. We aim to do so in a responsible way. Everyone’s health and wellbeing are of paramount importance to us.
We will be in contact to discuss the practicalities with those who need fittings appointments with us.
The next few weeks are challenging for us all. We ask that you allow us a little pause to put in place actions and mechanisms to let us move forward towards prom.
Please follow us on Instagram and Facebook as this is often an easy, quick way for us to communicate out. For everything else, our contact details remain the same. 01793 528030 and [email protected] As ever, the shop is by appointment only.
Please stay safe, stay well and stay positive. Together we CAN DO THIS!
